Our Weathered Grey on Reclaimed Wood finish is stained and sealed water-based poly This protective coating is plant based, non-toxic, and provides ultimate durability for everyday residential and commercial use. The wood stain color is warm to dark grey with grey/brown undertones. Due to the character of the reclaimed wood, on a larger surface, like a table top, you will see some areas that are not as pigmented as other areas.
Large checks, knots, and holes in the reclaimed wood are filled with a black epoxy for a complimentary look. However, tiny holes and hairline checks are left untouched as to not take away from the character of the reclaimed wood.
When ordering your sample, keep in mind that no two boards are ever alike. Your sample represents just a part of the finish, not the entire finish. Our reclaimed wood finishes are not uniform due to the inherent character of reclaimed oak. A variance in color tone and texture should be expected and celebrated.
